Myers LLP Response to COVID-19

Myers LLP is not aware of any presumptive or confirmed positive Covid-19 tests for any of our staff or lawyers. We continue to adhere to a strict regimen of continually cleaning our office space to prevent the possible spread of illness. We also have instituted internal policies for all firm personnel who have returned from travel or who may be experiencing symptoms consistent with Covid-19.

Effective March 23, 2020, Myers LLP will be implementing a rotating schedule for staff to ensure that recommendations regarding social distancing are respected. This reduced complement of staff will ensure that tasks such as dictation, drafting of documents, mail, deliveries, and faxes are all taken care of. Our accounting department will also continue to operate. The office will remain closed to the public except for those matters which necessitate an in-person visit such as signing documents. If you have questions about whether an in-person visit is required for your matter, please contact your lawyer by phone or email. All of our lawyers are able to work in a remote and secure environment, so work on your behalf continues without disruption. All lawyers working in our secure and remote environment have access to voicemail, email, and files.

We will continue to monitor any updates from Manitoba Health and the Chief Public Health Officer and provide the necessary updates to our clients regarding any change to the operation of our firm.
