Alisen worked as a legal assistant at a criminal law firm for several years prior to attending law school. While attending law school, Alisen worked as a summer student at a law firm in Calgary, where she also articled upon completion of her law degree.
Upon completion of her articles, Alisen returned to Winnipeg and has joined Myers as a civil litigator. Alisen started building her litigation skills in law school through her work with the Rights Clinic at Robson Hall, which included arguing before the Public Utilities Board, and by participating in the G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot. Alisen was actively involved with the National Indigenous Law Students’ Association throughout her time at law school.
Outside of work, Alisen enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new cuisines, and reading.
