Alisen worked as a legal assistant for several years with a criminal law firm in Winnipeg prior to attending law school.  While attending law school, Alisen worked as a summer student at a law firm in Calgary, where she also articled upon completion of her law degree.

Alisen returned to Winnipeg upon completion of her articles and has joined Myers as a civil litigator.  Alisen started building her litigation skills in law school by volunteering with the Rights Clinic at Robson Hall, which included arguing before the Public Utilities Board and participating in the G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot.  Alisen was actively involved with the National Indigenous Law Students’ Association while attending law school.

Outside of work, Alisen enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring new cuisines, and reading.
