Abram Silver is an associate with Myers LLP practicing primarily in the areas of Civil Litigation and Employment Law.
Abram joined Myers LLP as an articling student in 2017 and was called to the Bar in 2018.
Abram advises and assists both plaintiffs and defendants with a broad range of legal issues including contractual disputes, personal injury, employment law, collections and indigenous legal services.
Abram regularly appears on behalf of clients in the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench, Manitoba Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal as well as a number of administrative tribunals. Abram understands litigation is a stressful time and strives to ensure his clients receive sound legal advice tailored to their specific issues and goals.
Outside of the office, Abram volunteers his time with the Manitoba Bar Association and is proud to be a longstanding member of the MBA Mid-Winter Conference steering committee, including as co-chair of the conference. Abram also works with students at Robson Hall Faculty of Law to hone their advocacy skills through their course work and Moot Court competitions.
In his spare time, Abram is likely trying new local restaurants, cheering for the Winnipeg Jets, or exploring the city with his dog, Barkley.
