Shaylan is an associate practicing primarily in the area of Family Law. She joined Myers LLP in October 2024. Prior to joining the firm as associate, Shaylan articled and practised for three years with a firm in Brandon, Manitoba, where she gained experience in a wide variety of practice areas.

Shaylan is originally from Dauphin, Manitoba and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Anthropology. She received her law degree from the University of Manitoba in 2020.

Shaylan understands that separation can be a stressful time for clients and strives to find negotiated resolutions whenever possible. She also engages the family court system when necessary.

In her spare time, Shaylan enjoys travelling to new destinations, reading the latest bestseller and spending time with family and friends.
