Josh graduated from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Law in 2024. During his time in law school, he was an executive member of the Family Law Group and Robson Hall Tennis Club. Prior to law school, Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Manitoba.

Josh spent the summer of 2023 working as a Summer Student at Legal Aid Manitoba working primarily in family law and child protection. He also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and has worked with Resource Assistance for Youth, the Law Library Hub, and Youth Employment Services Manitoba.
